Mayor Brandon ‘Insurrectionist’ Johnson Urges Chicago Residents to Rebel Against Trump

Mayor Johnson summons his activist pals to rage on the streets

Mayor Brandon "insurrectionist" Johnson was heard on TV urging city residents to engage in open violence against Donald Trump and his efforts to keep America safe from crime and lawbreaking.

In comments delivered on the radically, left-wing cable "news" network, MSNBC, the self-professed "progressive" Democrat mayor accused the president of trying to create a "military-occupied state" with his moves to bring National Guard units into some of the most dangerous Democrat-run localities in the country to quell violence and illegal immigration, maybe even Chicago.

During his TV appearance, Johnson unleashed yet another stream of his all-too-common false proclamations, extremist partisan rhetoric, and outright lies. But one thing he said is a bit more alarming than his usual race-baiting blather. In one segment he seemed to actually suggest city residents should "rise up" and openly rebel against federal forces and national guard troops.

Before he unleashed his more shocking comment, he led with a lie, saying, "the president has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to what? Arrest nine people in D.C.? That clearly demonstrates that he doesn’t have a level of consciousness to understand what it takes to run cities, not to mention an entire country."

This is, of course, simply untrue. So far, Trump's efforts have resulted in the arrests of more than a thousand suspects.

Indeed, the lie was so blatant that President Trump even refuted it in a post on his Truth Social outlet.

"The incompetent Mayor of Chicago just stated that, in DC, where crime has been brought down to almost nothing, there have been no murders in 9 days, something which hasn’t happened in years, and people are safe again, only nine people have been arrested. That is wrong, hundreds of criminals have been held, captured, and arrested, and their guns have been taken away. DC IS SAFE AND BOOMING!!!" The president wrote.

But it is what Johnson followed that up with which is even more outrageous than his regular, partisan lies. He told the cable hosts that the residents of Chicago should "rise up against tyranny."

"We’ll take legal action," he exclaimed, before adding, "But the people of this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny. And if that’s necessary, I believe that the people of Chicago will stand firm alongside me as I work every single day to protect the people of this city."

Exactly what history of "rising up against tyranny" is this man talking about? Or does this delusional nut think he is going to take up arms and lead some sort of rebellion? Against legal law enforcement officials, yet.

Is Johnson wishing for riots, mayhem, and bloodshed in this city? And, again, in opposition to legal law enforcement activities?

It doesn't come as a great surprise, sadly. In 2020, he refused to condemn the looting, Molotov cocktail throwing-rioters, and the massive property destruction of the city.

The destruction, reportedly costing as much as $66 million, was so bad that many businesses have never recovered. But Johnson refused to condemn the mass destruction of his own city and instead attacked "corporations" for being "greedy."

It is a tragedy that Chicago has a mayor so radical that he won't condemn the burning down of his own city and is seen urging citizens to "rise up" against law enforcement.
